The Shaw Nature Reserve of the Missouri Botanical Garden is a 2,400-acre natural area located just south of Interstate-44 in Gray Summit. Missouri Botanical Garden
Visit more than one thousand live tropical butterflies fly freely in the glass conservatory at the Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House. Watch a butterfly emerge from a chrysalis right before your eyes. Go outside to spy local pollinators and migrating species in the Native Butterfly Garden.
